Jaytee Jet and Priceless Blake have already supplied Paul Hennessy with a pair of English Derby winners. Those wins were at Wimbledon and Nottingham in 2016 and 2019. The kennel entered seven runners into the 2025 Star Sports English Derby on Wednesday in a bid for a third title and to add Towcester to their list.

Paul Hennessy's Magnificent Seven

Boylesports Bob - Mr J Boyle & Mr N Murphy

The 2024 Derby runner-up also made the final at Shelbourne in November to prove again that he is a perfect competition dog. In his last 17 starts, he has only finished out of the first three once, the Irish Derby Final when he was fifth.

Hello Diego - Mr P Hynes

The recent BetGoodwin and JR Racing Maiden Derby winner, he went unbeaten through the three rounds of that competition. Has only had 13 starts in his life.

Jaytee Craze - Mr J Turner & Mr L Craze

Made the final of the Maiden Derby last year where he was sent off the 8/11 favourite. Only made the second round of the Derby itself subsequently, stepping up to six bends at the end of 2024 to great effect.

Lennies Desire - Mr L Craze

Similar to Jaytee Craze insomuch as he was the beaten favourite in the Maiden Derby Final on Sunday. His seeding has been changed from rails to wide for the opening round of the Derby.

Boylesports Blue - Mr J Boyle

Didn't get a chance to show what he is capable of in the Time Juvenile, chopped off on the run to the opening bend. A 28.91 winner of a trial stake, he was a Juvenile Derby finalist at Shelbourne last summer.

Barefoot On Fire - Mr B Murphy & Mrs K Murphy

Third in the final of the Irish St Leger last year, he was one place in front of Jaytee Craze in that contest. The spring has seen him return from six months off with a trio of wins at Cork, Towcester and Limerick. Is a very versatile performer.

Dynamic Force - Mr B Coachman & Mr I Cunningham

An Irish Sprint Cup semi-finalist last year where the three who beat him were Road Exile, Ballymac Finn and Carrick Aldo! Form dipped with the colder weather, might just surprise a few early on.
