Gone To The Dogs - Live! looks back at Perry Barr

You don’t want to miss the latest video from Gone To The Dogs - Live!

The film takes a trip down memory lane to cover all things Perry Barr and it will be released at 7pm this evening.

The special feature covers all you need to know about the Birmingham track, from it’s opening night in front of 15,000 people in 1928 to its closure last month - and everything in between.

Narrated by Darrell Williams, the video provides all the history on the famous circuit, including the changing of the site and the various owners of the track, while also highlighting some of the best winners of big competitions held there such as the Birmingham Cup, the Oaks and St Leger.

A special thanks must go Steve Nash and www.greyhoundracingtimes.co.uk for providing the many photos included in the film, helping to give a fascinating insight into some of the glory days of the recently-closed venue.

As well as an extensive looks at its history, there is also a look to the future as the racing operation relocates to just down the road at Dunstall Park later this month.

Creators Ashlee Williams and Mike Green help paint a vivid and informative picture of this special piece of greyhound racing history.
