Oxford redraw Sandy Lane semis

Oxford had to re-draw the semi-finals of theultimatetipster.com Sandy Lane Sprint after Broadway Murty was inadvertently submitted as a middle seed, albeit is rails.

The track's Kiaran O'Brien said: "Due to an error on my part, the draw for the semi-finals needed to be re-done.

"I inadvertently got my Broadways mixed up and submitted Murty as a middle seed rather than a railer. Lord was a middle.

"Please accept my sincere apologies for this error and I promise to do better in the future."

Two semi-finals of the Category Two sprint take place at the Cowley venue on Saturday.

The weekend's heats over 253m saw victories for Craig Morris's Nightgale Crew (15.20), Rachel Hill's Fluff The Start (15.01), Kevin Hutton's Jazzy George (14.96) and Maxine Locke's Dashaway Daisy (14.96).
