We round-up the action on a busy Saturday night, with opens at Central Park, Yarmouth, Oxford and Doncaster.


Central Park double for O’Sullivan
On a busy Saturday night, there were five opens at Central Park where Barry O’Sullivan landed a double.
O’Sullivan took heat two of the Jenningsbet Standard Trophy courtesy of Head Count (10/11fav), who covered the 491m trip in 29.25 to score by half a length from Kanturk Mills, with Hasty Lottie a further five and three-quarter lengths back in third.
The first heat went to Chelms Lambo, who also landed odds of 10/11 as he beat Miami Yeats by four and a half lengths in 29.35 for George Andreas, with Blastoff Kobbie behind in third.
O’Sullivan brought up the double when Brinkleys Loulou landed division two of the Arc Maiden Trophy over 491m in 29.67 at 100/30, while the first division saw Fiery Sally (2/1) get up late to deny Barnfield Piper by a head in 29.31.
King Presley won the Jenningsbet Sprint Trophy in the manner his odds of 8/11 suggested he would, making all by two and a half lengths in 16.12.
Mullins on fire at Yarmouth
John Mullins rattled off a treble at Yarmouth, including landing both trial stakes for the upcoming Click Competitions East Anglian Derby.
The first instalment was won in facile fashion by Wrighty (evens fav) as he beaty Worth The Risk by five lengths in 27.47 ( +10), while Swift Depot took the second trial stakes in similar style as he stopped the clock at 27.42 (+10).
Too Wright was the third winner for the Mullins kennel as she defied odds of 7/1 to score in 40.26 (+15) over 659m.
There was a double for Jason Bloomfield, whose Bish Bosh Bashy recorded a 7/1 upset when striking over 659m in 40.54 (+15), while his kennel companion Two Slip Jigs (2/1) won the sprint in 16.23 17 minutes later.
Craig Morris also notched quick-fire two-timer courtesy of Cartoonist (11/10jt-fav), who made an impressive six-bend debut when hacking up over 659m in 40.16 (+15), and Chelms Charmer (13/8fav), a winner over 462m in 27.87 (+10).
The Erica Samuels-trained Outdoor Cracker took the 659m finale in 40.78 (+15) at 15/8.
Another good Saturday night at Oxford for Hutton
Kevin Hutton was in prolific form at Oxford again as he landed three of the six opens at the Cowley circuit.
Coppice Ronnie kicked things off for the kennel when landing odds of 4/11 to take the sprint opener in 14.84 (-10), before Dreamin Reggie (7/1) and Rioja Maxi (2/7fav) scored over 450m in 26.72 (-10) and 26.71 (-10) respectively.
Steve Lapidge’s Cockney Charlie (100/30) hit the target over 450m in 27.47 (-20), while there were also victories for Shaun Gresham’s Kingdom Bucks (3/1) over 450m in 27.33 (-10) and the Dave Elcock-trained Swift Megan (6/4fav) over 650m in 40.31 (-15).
Milner hits a treble at Doncaster
There was also a treble for Phil Milner at Doncaster, starting with Droopys Glam’s (11/8fav) trap-to-line success over 450m in 27.81 (-10).
Keefill Goose (5/2fav) and Thequietman (11/10fav) then followed up for the kennel over 483m as they scored in 29.34 (-10) and 29.92 (-10) respectively.
Westfield Bullet (1/3fav) won well over 275m in 16.98, before Westfield Gracie (5/1) completed a double for Jason Smith when striking over 450m in 28.25 (-10).
The only 661m open on the card saw Knockard Joe (8/15fav) make all with ease for Paul Philpott in 41.61 (-20).
