There is an excellent card at Dunstall Park this evening for the finals of the Arena Racing Company Laurels and Dunstall Dash. We have three selections for the night.
Saturday's Tips
*** Good Acclaim - 8.38 Dunstall Park

* Bower Sheeran - 9.38 Dunstall Park
The Dunstall Dash is a brand new competition for this year at the newest track in the country, so it is appropriate that the favourite to take the title is a relative newcomer to racing. Good Acclaim has only had 11 starts so far in his career, winning nine of them, tasting defeat in just one sprint. He can come away level at worst, drive the bend from the outside and spring himself clear to take the victory.
The big final of the evening is the Arena Racing Company Laurels where Romeo Steel has the pick of the draw of the five railers in this contest. He has flying early pace and should be able to quickly take control of the race on the inside and can convert a first bend lead into a Category One win.
It is interesting to see Bower Sheeran dropped back into a sprint this evening. He is going to have to be on his game as he has a Silver Salver finalist to his immediate left in Beaming Isla but he is a National Sprint runner-up himself as well as producing one of the runs of the year at Newcastle in a sprint win last Christmas. He has that x factor about him as a speedball.
