A win in the heats from Newinn Bachelor last week was the first time that he had been seen in action since the semis of the National Sprint at Nottingham back in mid-December. He looked a little ring rusty from the traps and is entitled to step up on that effort this evening. There was only half a length separating him and Newinn Souly last week and his kennelmate looks his main danger again.
It's good to see Alright Twinkle on her travels this evening at Monmore having run up a hugely imrepssive sequence at Oxford over her last five starts. She will be well suited to this slightly stiffer test of stamina and a runner on the inside in one who is going to prove a perfect second hare for her. She chased home the likes of Tiffield Tarquin and Fabulous Aria at Towcester when last on her travels, clocking 29.17 and 29.18 there.
Bonus Bullet was a very impressive winner in the opening round of the bet365 English Puppy Oaks at Oxford before Christmas, only missing out by a length on a spot in the final. The two that beat her that day were Sopay Suds and Romford Puppy Cup winner Scooby Diamond. She has a look here which can give her an advantage over her main market rival Newinn Aero.
