It's the final of the Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks and the Arc Scurry Gold Cup at Dunstall Park tonight plus the semis of the Doncaster Puppy Derby.

The three semi-finals of the Doncaster Puppy Derby are all competitive affairs this evening but the one runner that stands out is Frankton Grange. He was an impressive winner of his heat last week despite leaving the impression that he is capable of finding another couple of lengths for this further look around. The four will head to the rails, he can lead the five up and have a clean run around the outside.
The Premier Greyhound Racing Oaks is a cracking final but the one who had the most potential to do better than she has already done is Graham Holland's Fahrenheit Jess. She has a beautiful launchpad on the rails from where her excellent early pace can prove to be a huge weapon. She produced a new fastest of the year over this 480m distance in the semis last week and will take some stopping if she goes around in front.
There could be a minor surprise in the final of the Arc Scurry Gold Cup with Avarua Lake drawn to attack from the red jacket. If Magical Jason traps then he is the most likely winner but he showed last week in the semis that he could be vulnerable against such smart opponents if he doesn't. The selection beat his kennelmate and defending champion from these same trap draws at Hove in August in the final of a minor sprint competition and he is more than capable of doing so again.
