There is some excellent action at Monmore this evening where we have three selections from their open races.
Saturday's Tips
*** Wise Tournament - 7.34 Monmore
** Face The Storm - 9.14 Monmore
* Cashin Lee - 7.40 Monmore
One of the fastest improvers at Monmore has been Wise Tournament. She comes from a very talented family and has really figured things out since being beaten in an A4 on her race debut at the track at the end of April. The winner of five of her seven starts since, she has one of just 13 times sub 28.10 at Monmore in 2026. That level of form is too strong for these.
The move up to six bends has been the making of Face The Storm, winning both of his 630m starts here with plenty in hand. He is up against his toughest rival so far in his kennelmate Carrick Scholsey which is going to be a proper test for him but with that rival further off the rails than is absolutely ideal, the younger legs can carry him home.
Cashin Lee has only had a single race when getting very little luck after fluffing the start. He is a far better performer than that and a level break should see that this evening. He paces up well around the opening couple of turns on that occasion to put himself into a challenging position by halfway, so there is clearly an engine there, he just needs to find a way to show it.
