*** Kranky Drake - 8.18 Dunstall Park

** Droopys Bookem - 7.38 Dunstall Park

* Droopys Trade - 6.58 Dunstall Park

One of the best drawn dogs on the card is Kranky Drake. He is in a race that has four railers inside of him and a slower starter to his immediate left. He has a little bit of early himself and should be able to get to the bend in a position on the bunny. He stays 480m strongly and he is the type that won't be coming back if he goes around in front.

Although Droopys Bookem is yet to prove he stays as far as 715m, the way he hit the line and went to the pickup over 630m at Monmore suggests that he is well worth a try. He lacks a look here, but with one that is going to move a bit to the right on the run to the bend on his outside, he should be able to take advantage of the space that is afforded to him.

Droopys Trade made the final of the Laurels over track and trip back in April before making the final of the Derby Plate at Towcester. He returned to this venue for the centenary meeting when third to Strike It Skye before bolting up at Monmore. He has been out of race action since early August but he has not got the toughest heat and his kennel are in superb form at present.
