Scaglietti litter off the mark at Hove on Sunday
The litter of pups by Scaglietti out of Yankee Molly produced a pair of winners on the Sunday afternoon card at Hove.

Scaglietti litter pick up their first wins at the weekend
Roger Cearns was delighted with the performances of Chisem Mayura and Chisem Emmy after the littermates - from a July 2024 batch by Scaglietti out of Yankee Molly - both won at Hove on Sunday.
Two of an 11-strong litter now making their mark at the Sussex venue, the pair won back-to-back contests with Mayura scoring in 30.85 in an A11 from her sister Chisem Izzie and Chisem Amelia for a littermate one-two-three, before Emmy followed up a close-up second on debut the week before with a strong-running win in 30.31 in another A11 at the seaside venue. Her brother Chisem Mike was third here.
"We had six of the litter running on Sunday and three on Saturday and, while they've started out in low grade, they'll improve for sure and it was great to see Mayura and Emmy get the litter off the mark," said owner Cearns. "Hopefully there's a few more to come."
The litter are noteworthy for a few reasons.
An unplanned batch, their sire was a high-profile sales purchase and former Derby contender, while dam Yankee Molly is still racing after a career which saw her reach the semi-finals of the Golden Jacket in 2023.
*KING PRESLEY clocked 16.64 in a sprint solo trial over 270m at Hove on Saturday and will be back on track soon.
The former Liz McNair-trained sprinter, now with Ricky Holloway, was withdrawn from a race at Central Park on February 21.
The withdrawal is understood to be subject of a GBGB inquiry.
