Seven Beach is rated a 7/4 favourite to reverse the form with Ballymac Danica and land the top prize in this weekend’s BoyleSports Champion Stakes final at Shelbourne Park.

The Jennifer O’Donnell-trained son of Pestana and Whitings Gift qualified in second from Saturday’s third semi-final heat, but an impressive front-running victory for Ballymac Danica now makes her a close 9/4 second favourite to claim the €20,000 on offer for the winner.

Lennies Desire is a 9/2 shot from trap 6 while the other semi-final heat winner Ballyhooly Bruno is the 14/1 outsider of the six finalists. Faypoint Harvey (5/1) and Cheque For Cash (8/1) go from traps 1 and 2 respectively after they progressed via runner-up spots.

Lawrence Lyons, spokesperson for BoyleSports, said: “Ballymac Danica was the fastest heat winner but Seven Beach still caught the eye in second and with quality right down the racecard, the final looks wide open."

There is also a competitive betting heat under way for the BoyleSports Champion Plate final, with Hello Diego (15/8) shading favouritism ahead of 9/4 shot Born Braver.
