Corals were quickest out of the blocks to price up the semi-final stages of their two competitions that continue at Romford on Friday, the Coronation Cup and Guys & Dolls.
Coral quick to price up Romford on Friday
BIKINI BULLET, one of three heat winners for Belinda Green on a tremendous afternoon for the Hove trainer in Monday's rearranged first round, is even-money favourite with sponsors Coral to win Romford's Coronation Cup heading into Friday's semis.
A winner in a fastest-of-the-day 35.04 for the 575m trip, Bikini Bullet has displaced Essex Vase champion Tiffield Tarquin as favourite for the £10,000 prize on Friday week after Ray Peckham's dog could manage only second in his heat, albeit after a missed break, behind another Green-trained winner Teddie in 35.13.
Tiffield Tarquin is a 4-1 chance for outright honours, while Raebella Bullet is 5-1 having earlier initiated the Belinda Green treble when winning in 35.64. The pair clash in Friday's second semi.
Coral have already issued semi-final prices for Friday, as well as updating the Coral Guys & Dolls long-odds list and offering semi-final prices for the supporting Category Two event which splits the 'Guys' and 'Dolls' until the final.
Two semi-finals of the £5,000-to-the-winner 400m annual also take place on Friday. Nathan Hunt's Scooby Diamond, the Romford Puppy Cup winner, was fastest in Monday's heats when winning in 23.79.
