StarSports Derby Ante-Post market movers

Following a quality weekend of racing, there have been several market moves In the Ante Post betting for the StarSports Derby

After yesterday’s stunning success in the Time Greyhound Nutrition Juvenile at Towcester, Proper Heiress has been cut into as low as 8/1 with most bookmakers, although you can still get 12/1 currently with Skybet

Bockos Diamond still trades at 4/1 though Paddy Power have pushed out last year’s Irish Derby winner to 5/1 on the back of his third place run in that contest behind Proper Heiress

Wicky Ned, who was as low as 12/1 yesterday morning, has been pushed out to 16/1 by William Hill and bet365 and out to 20/1 with sponsors StarSports, though you can still get 25/1 with Priced Up.

Cheap Sandwiches, who was a good winner of a Derby Trial Stakes has been cut into 18/1 from 22/1 with the sponsors and from 20/1 into 16/1 with Unibet following that performance though he is still available to back at 20/1.

Droopys Plunge, who was a good runner up in that Juvenile contest has been cut as a result into 20/1 from 25/1 with bet365 and from 22/1 with StarSports but is as low as 16/1 with William Hill who were 18/1. Though generally still available at 20/1, PricedUp are a standout 33/1.

Following his success in the betGoodwin and J R Racing Maiden Derby at Towcester yesterday, Derby sponsors StarSports reacted by cutting Hello Diego into 33/1 from 50/1, and is as low as 25/1 although the 50/1 is still available elsewhere.

Con & Annie Kirby winner Faypoint Ranger has also shortened in the betting following his success on Saturday Evening, trading as low as 14/1 with William Hill from 20/1, and 25/1 from 28/1 with bet365 though that 28/1 is still the best price available with the sponsors StarSports.
