There are only four opens on Sunday afternoon's card at Towcester but that is more than enough to find three selections that we like for the action.

It was hard not to be impressed by Ari Up last week at Towcester when she stepped up to 500m for the first time. She had looked a more than usual type over two bends but the step up to four saw her take off. Owned by the Barking Mad Betting Syndicate, a repeat of that effort would see her pick up an open win at the first time of asking on just the 10th start of her life.
At the other end of her career is Avongate Venus. She has been showing plenty of ability remains, getting her head in front last week at the main expense of Newinn Tonic who re-opposes here. The selection has sported stripes on two prior occasions at Towcester, the first when winning the bet365 Empress Stakes final and the other when winning on Derby final night. She can make it 3/3 here.
Trainer Phil Milner has recently moved to Towcester from Doncaster and can quickly make himself at home with a double on the card. Keefill Goose has the speedy Salacres Lock Up to his immediate left, with that rival looking to add to an impressive maiden win last week, though this is much stronger company. Keefill Goose is a multiple Category One finalist and really ought to be too good.
