Category One action from both Oxford and Towcester this afternoon. The final of the bet365 Challenge Cup and first round of the bet365 Puppy Oaks at the former and the semis of the BGBF British Bred Derby at the latter.

Keefill Rocky got his bid underway for back-to-back BGBF British Bred Derby triumphs last week with a fluent win. He has a wider draw this afternoon but there is not a lot of early pace inside him to clear which should see him in control from an early stage and take another step into the final.
It was September when Romeo Alliance last got his head in front but this is a great opportunity for him to land another. The return to this track helped him bounce back to something approaching his best last week and from the same starting position, he can get back in the win column.
450m is too short for Bubbly Evie but she might still get away with it in her heat of the bet365 Puppy Oaks. She has a smart time in opposition in Romford Puppy Cup winner Scooby Diamond but Evie’s trials more than match up and she will enjoy having something to chase down.
