Sunday's Tips

*** King Memphis - 3.32 Towcester

** Yahoo Megan - 2.48 Sheffield

* Zappa - 2.54 Towcester

King Memphis is a perfect 4/4 at Towcester since the 2024 Derby final, flying though the British Bred Derby before adding to that with a one-off success a week ago. He is entitled to step forward a touch for that given that he had not seen race action since before Christmas and that should be enough to see him turn handy to the speed and pull out enough to see off the late challenge of Rackethall Brute.

There are three opens at Sheffield this afternoon and it is short odds that Patrick Janssens sweeps the board. Yahoo Megan will marginally be the longest price of the three in the sprint, drawn as she is outside of Colliers Bucholz. She cleared that rival when she sported the white jacket over track and trip in December and can do so again.

A Towcester maiden contest at 2.54 can see Zappa add to his three graded wins here. He has been successful over both two and four bends and looked sharp in a sprint trial earlier on this month. He has the speed to turn front rank and a repeat of his prior times over this distance can see him see off Bower Aoibhin who has been costly for punters to follow so far.
