Sunday's Tips

*** Jazzy Ace - 3.51 Towcester

** Southfield Hugo - 3.13 Towcester

* Betgoodwin Tutts - 3.26 Sheffield

Jazzy Ace is yet to be seen over Towcester's 460m distance but it should suit him well. He flew out of the traps at Hove on his most recent start over 500m but was run down in the last few strides. He has wins over that trip at this track, at Hove and at Sheffield but the slight drop in distance is going to be a plus, especially if he can come away. the same way once more.

There is just single race so far in the career of Southfield Hugo, bolting up in a Newbridge contest at the end of February. Dipping under 29 seconds there on debut is a decent effort, and he has shown plenty of speed in trials to this point for Kevin Hutton. The blue jacket might not be ideal but he should have the natural speed to overcome it.

There was a smart win the last time that Betgoodwin Tutts raced at Sheffield, a little bit unfortunate not to finish a little closer than he did when knocked out in the first round of the Time Northern Flat at Newcastle when last in action. This is an easier contest, back in against his own age group, and a repeat of his last Sheffield run should more than suffice.
