There is open class racing this afternoon at Oxford and Towcester. The former has the big contest of the day, the final of the bet365 Puppy Oaks.

** Antigua Kestrel - 5.24 Towcester
* Soapy Suds - 3.29 Oxford
Since stepping up to six bends, there has been no stopping Venetian Mick. He has won all four starts over this track and trip, including when stepping up into stronger company last time out. This race looks well set up for him, his early pace should take him clear of his field, and with Ballymac Madgie heading to the rails inside him, even if he were to miss it a hair, he should still have a beautifully clear run to the bend.
One of the most intriguing battles of the day at Towcester comes in the 5.27 where Antigua Eagle and Silverhill Adam do battle. The former is the pick, with the big plus point of being drawn inside his main rival. His is only 1/7 at the track but that is down to the level of competition that he has faced, with six of those seven runs producing times of 29.15 or quicker!
The final of the bet365 Puppy Oaks is the highlight of the Oxford card this afternoon and it can see Soapy Suds extending the winning start to her career to four. She picked up the re-opposing Scooby Diamond last week in the semis and that one is likely to set the pace for her to chase once more. 450m around here is a bare minimum for the red-jacketed runner who is going to be a serious player in all the big bitches competitions in 2026.
