Sunday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 4 January 2025
The card at Towcester has beaten the weather on Sunday afternoon, so we head to Northamptonshire for our three selections for the day.
Sunday's Tips
*** Born Racer - 6.02 Towcester
** Slick Sentinel - 5.43 Towcester
* Bruce Bay - 5.24 Towcester
Hopefully the card can make it all the way to the end at Towcester this afternoon as the 'easier' contests look to be the final pair. Born Racer has taken the sprints by storm at the track and has a perfect launching pad on the inside to add another win to his tally. He is 1/2 at the time of writing, a similar price to when he has beaten the reposing Pavilion Team the last two weeks.
This track is a perfect fit for Slick Sentinel who smashed out in a flying 3.93 split last week to clock another sub 28.90 time. He is the ultimate professional and is strong enough to pick these up if he happens to miss it. If he hits it again, however, then it should be race over by the first bend.
There are a couple of interesting newcomers on the card for Mark Wallis, Bruce Bay being one of them. He has shown up well in trials after some solid work over 10 races in Ireland. Slick Stravinsky is in danger of becoming a touch disappointing now, so this looks the perfect opportunity for the Wallis runner to pick up a win at the first time of asking for new connections.
