Sunday's Tips

*** Swords Style - 3.32 Towcester

** Swift Magnison - 4.47 Towcester

* Reality Power - 5.06 Towcester

Although Swords Style was a costly one for punters seven days ago, that money may only be lent. He was absolutely electric from the traps to the bend where he ran right off having not seen the track before. Despite that, he still clocked 29.05, giving the impression there is 30 spots to come off that on his second viewing of the track.

Without question, one of the best drawn dogs on the card this afternoon is Swift Magnison. The quick-starting wide has already shown some top form over this 500m distance when beating King Memphis. With five railers inside, he can pop out in front, avoid any trouble inside him and kick far enough clear to hold off the closers.

A marathon contest over 942m on the card can go to Reality Power. She is a dour stayer and that proven distance form is something that is important for her here compared to a couple of rivals who have either not tried this far yet or didn't look to get the distance when they have. She won a similar contest at Central Park at the end of March and can get her head in front once more.
