*** Trickys Matilda - 3.07 Sheffield

** Grantstown Cross - 5.37 Sheffield

* Rockmount Bob - 4.22 Sheffield

A staying contest at 3.07 looks tailor-made for Trickys Matilda to pick up her second win over the 660m distance. This is a much easier race than the ones that she has been seen in over this trip so far this year and a repeat of that form which she has shown is likely to be more than enough this afternoon.

Grantstown Cross has been in sparkling form over 480m at Sheffield of late, winning four straight over the trip and improving his finish time with each one of those runs. This is going to be a little bit tougher from a draw in five which is wider than ideal but he should still have too much in the tank for them.

The only trial that Rockmount Bob has produced over 500m at Sheffield was poor, a long way off what he would have been expected to achieve. He was a flying winner on his final start at Waterford, cruising around there to a 28.38 success. Clan Na Gael also came from Waterford where his best was 29.49, though his Sheffield trial was 29.14 rather than 30.02! If the selection can find his Waterford best, there should only be one winner.
