Sunday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 8 March 2026
We take a look over the open class races at Towcester this afternoon to find our three best bets on the card there for Sunday's Greyhound racing tips.

Sunday's Tips
*** Sussex Cyclone - 5.24 Towcester
** Crafty Alejandro - 4.47 Towcester
* Frankton Ivy - 3.51 Towcester
Sussex Cyclone caught the eye in a big way at Towcester last week. She missed the break then paced up into trouble which saw her head into the back six plus lengths off the leader and five off the eventual winner. She had closed that down to two and a quarter by the time the line came, staying on well late on. With that first look under her belt, a clear run should see her four or five lengths quicker and now sporting red will help as she has won three of the four races in which she has been drawn right on the inside.
The return to the red jacket also has the potential to be a big plus for Crafty Alejandro. He was a very smart winner here at the end of January when he was last drawn in one, well in front of his re-opposing kennelmate Pavilion Team on that occasion. That rival was a quick winner here last time but he has lost a bit of his consistency in the last six months or so, and Crafty Alejandro has been flying.
It was a little surprising to see a forecast price quite so big about Frankton Ivy in the 3.51 as she returns to six bends for the first time since November. She perhaps does not get her head in front quite as often as backers would hope but a lot of that is down to the quality of opposition that she took on last year. She ran Breton Molly to three lengths over track and trip in July, clocking 43.11.
That time would put her right in the mix here. Add that to form that saw her seven lengths behind multiple Cat One finalist Romeo Empire, six and three-quarters behind another multi Cat One finalist Droopys Flotilla and a neck behind St Leger finalist Daring Moaner and she could be a spot of value in this field.
