Santas Amigo was an impressive heat winner in the JR Racing Juvenile Classic last Sunday and can double up in his semi-final this afternoon at 3.29. The pair that he beat in his heat are both in opposition again, with all of the early pace in the heat on his outside. That should allow him to slip around their inside around the opening two turns to kick clear down the back. He didn't trap in his heat but his early pace got his to the front early on and the same is expected here.

Gripwell Peg is a tricky one to weigh up but perhaps the red jacket is going to be a help to her at 3.11 .She has had plenty of opportunities but this is a potentially gilt-edged one to pick up a second open race win. Her sole success came from trap one and she was beaten a short head the only other time that she has run from this slot so we'll take a chance that it will have a positive effect again. 

It is going to take a mighty performance to turn over Breton Molly in the stayers contest at 4.07. At 1/4, she doesn't make much appeal as a single so finding the one to chase her home could be the way forward. All of her rivals are a double figure price at the time of writing and the one we like is Innfield Charm in trap two. She had some very smart form in 2024, two lengths behind Ballymac Taylor over this C&D and three lengths behind Garfiney Blaze at Hove for example. She should strip fitter for her return to action after almost six months off last week and can pick up the pieces for second late on.
