The 2025 GBGB Awards are this evening
Easthampsted Park in Berkshire will be the venue for the 2025 Greyhound Board of Great Britain Awards as the sport comes together to celebrate.
GBGB Awards this evening
The annual GBGB Awards will be given out this evening at Easthampsted Park near Wokingham with a bigger number of nominations for each of the awards. That gives a few more connections the chance to get one of their greyhounds nominated, though taking on the might of the MWD Partnership looks tough on paper.
There have already been awards announced in the leadup to the ceremony with Mark Wallis crowned champion trainer once more and the MWD Partnership taking the Owner of the Year title.
Kennelhand of the Year will be awarded to Shannon Brown who works for trainer Paul Rutherford.
The Graded Greyhound of the Year is Bacon Burrger for trainer Paul Burr who owns in partnership with Kevin Bacon.
Fabulous Mila has been named the Best Dam of British Bred for 2025 for owner Dave Firmager who has plenty of other nominations on the evening as well.
