The Nominations for the GBGB Awards have been announced
The nominations have been announced for the 2025 GBGB Awards which will be held on March 5 at Easthampstead Park, Wokingham.
GBGB Awards: Nominations announced
The Greyhound Board of Great Britain (GBGB) is pleased to announce that, following a lengthy meeting of the Awards Panel this week, a shortlist of racers in each category has been reached for this year’s Greyhound of the Year Awards.
Due to an impressive number of worthy nominees this year, the Awards Panel, which is made up of representatives from across the industry, took the decision to expand the number of greyhounds in each category.
Mark Moisley, Commercial Director of GBGB, said:
“We are delighted to be announcing the nominees for each category at the 2025 GBGB Awards following considerable discussion by the Panel. After a fantastic year of racing and notable achievements by so many racers, there is strong competition for the top prizes across every category. We wish the best of luck to all nominees."
The nominees are as follows:
Trainers, owners and connections are all invited to attend the black-tie ceremony which will be held at Easthampstead Park, Wokingham on Thursday 5th March 2026.
