We are hoping that the rail is the place to be at Newcastle this evening with all three tips in the red jacket! We start with Elusivenomore who is very well suited to a draw right on the inside. The winner of the Gymcrack, he missed his break in the final of the Eclipse but bounced back to winning ways at this track last time out. A solid contender for overall glory, he can get his campaign off to the perfect start.
Droopys Bookem made the final of the Northern Flat over track and trip in July and can take his first step in another Newcastle Category One for Tom Heilbron. He has enjoyed a strong year, making the semis of the Derby, the Eclipse and the Olympic as well. He can come home the strongest in this field to at least make another Cat One semi.
Another of Tom Heilbron's three Northern Flat finalists was Unanimous Leon. He is another who has hit the woodwork this year, making the final of the Classic recently at Sunderland. A very smart performer when he gets on the bunny, he was a sparkling winner in his Northern Flat heat and he can repeat the dose kicking off another competition tonight.
