Hove is the place to be on Thursday night with nine open races on the card. We have found our top three picks for the evening's action for our Thursday tips.

There is a four dog race to close out the card where Avarua Sarah has been handed a gilt-edged opportunity to get herself off the mark in open race company. Her three rivals are all fellow Hove graders at a lower level than she is, and she is the one with the best early speed to lead these up.
Dereks Legend has only been seen twice over six bends so far in his career, chasing home the smart Powerhouse Duke in the first of those and then beating a decent enough yardstick in Hopes Candy in the second. He chased home Tiffield Tarquin when returning to action over four bends last week and will appreciate the return to further.
Another to make an eye-catching return from a short break last time out was Clona Kody. He has a nice draw to work from this evening as the sole wide runner with a vacant trap inside of him. Throughout his career here he has kept smart company, missing out on a spot in the final of the Coral Olympic back in December by a length.
