Richard Rees has a nice youngster on his hands with Scooby The Lady. She was a fluent winner here in her most recent start which was a drop in company compared to some that she was taking on. She should appreciate being drawn closer to the rails here than she has been, coming away better from this sort of slot than wider out. An early lead would see her take plenty of stopping.
After two wins from his last three starts in A1, it looks the right time for Wastehouse Mix to step up into open races and have a go at this level. He is the pick of his fellow local graders who take him on, which should make him a tough type to handle. His early gears can put him quickly in control of his field.
Burrows Fizz is very much in the could be anything bracket after one start in Ireland and one in the UK. She was sent off favourite for a bet365 Puppy Oaks heat at Oxford but found trouble and fell at the opening bend. The winner of that heat went on and finished fourth in the final. Her trials times suggest that she is smart, as does the fact that she was sent off favourite for that heat. She could be a spot too big at the 10/3 early prices.
