There are plenty of open races to get stuck into at Hove this evening where we have picked out our three best bets on the card for our selections.

*** Droopys Rated - 8.07 Hove
** Wastehouse Mix - 7.49 Hove
* Tiffield Tarquin - 8.41 Hove
The step up to six bends for the first time produced a huge run from Droopys Rated in the heats of the Coral Stayers Trophy last week. The final tonight is a tougher affair with some decent yardsticks by which to measure himself, but anything like a clear run should see him make it 2/2 over 695m
The 7.49 this evening looks an easier target for Wastehouse Mix than taking on the likes of Droopys Deploy and the fast-improving Blackstone Opera of late. He has some solid efforts over this trip to his credit, both of his last two wins seeing him dip under 29.40. A return to that sort of time should be enough tonight.
It will be interesting to see how the drop back to four bends works with Tiffield Tarquin after spending the last couple of months running exclusively at Romford over 575m. He has enjoyed a huge amount of success over that new trip but this distance on a galloping track won't feel too much different for him and he is a class act.
