There is some top notch action at Newcastle this evening as the road to the feature All England Cup card starts with some trial stakes for the meeting.

* Zenith Tanju - 8.54 Newcastle
Early signs have been that Ballymac Shontae is well above average and she can hammer home that point tonight in a future stars trial stakes. A vacant trap inside her can only help, clocking a flying 4.47 sectional last time that she ran over track and trip from the striped jacket, thrashing a subsequent quick scorer by four lengths. She ran into a very smart one at Nottingham last time out, and the return to her home track should see her in a better light.
The red jacket is a perfect launching pad for Elusivenomore in the 8.01. His early pace can see him quickly in control of this field, and a lead at the opening bend should be all he requires to pick up another success. An Eclipse finalist most recently at Nottingham, he is taking a fair step down in class here.
It can be an exceptional night for the Jimmy Fenwick kennel, with Zenith Tanju capable of adding to the haul. He was a Derby finalist back in the summer and showed that huge ability on his only race at this track so far, winning in 28.35 in early October. On paper, this looks like a great opportunity to pick up another win.
