Thursday's Greyhound Racing Tips - 8 January 2026
There is open class action at Hove this evening to brighten up our Thursday. We have picked out three selections for the card.

Thursday's Tips
*** Broadway Murty - 8.41 Hove
** Alright Patricia - 6.59 Hove
* Bluejig Baron - 6.42 Hove
On his day, Broadway Murty is one of the top sprinters in the country. He did not have things all his own way in a recent success at this track but despite missing the start a little bit, he was quickly on top of his field. The third that day re-opposes this evening and looks the main danger on the clock, so the red-jacketed runner can go in again.
It is going to be one of the highlights of the card this evening to see Alright Patricia back over six bends again. She has had a pair of runs back in A2 grade at Oxford to get her eye back in over 450m and now steps back up to a far more suitable distance. This is arguably the easiest field that she has taken on at the track which is an ideal time given the lack of runs over this far for seven months, and she probably wouldn't need to dip under 42 seconds like she has on her other. three 695m runs to land the money.
Dave Lee has done a great job getting Bluejig Baron firing on all cylinders again after a break as it's not always easy to get these veterans going again. He was a solid winner last week and is capable of taking another step up on that this evening. This is a tougher race but he can turn handy to the speed and kick on down the back to continue his unbeaten return.
