One seeded runner in Santas Amigo would look to be handily positioned, the winner of three of his four starts so far in his career when he has sported stripes on his back. He clocked a flying trial at the track on Sunday which saw his price cut for the Star Sports and Orchestrate Ltd English Greyhound Derby.
The race has plenty to live up to after the 2025 renewal which saw Greyhound of the Year Proper Heiress lead home Derby winner Droopys Plunge and 2024 Irish Derby winner Bockos Diamond in one of the races of the year.
