£16,800 Top Lot at Romford Sales Trials Joins Paul Young’s Kennel
At the latest Romford greyhound sales trials, a young April 2024 bitch named Rapido Rosin topped the charts with a £16,800 price tag. The fastest on the day, she now joins Paul Young’s kennel as part of a strong batch of purchases. A total of 41 greyhounds sold for £117,150, with most remaining within the Entain track system.

It was a busy and competitive sales floor at Romford Greyhound Stadium on Thursday 17th July, as 41 of the 48 entered lots (85%) were sold for a combined total of £117,150.
This equates to an average of just over £2,850 per greyhound, reinforcing a strong appetite for fresh talent in the second half of 2025.
Rapido Rosin – Fastest Trial & Top Price
The fastest trial of the day came from Rapido Rosin, a April 2024 daughter of Grangeview Ten out of Chelms Ramona, who stopped the clock in 24.17 seconds.
Her standout performance helped fetch the top lot price of £16,800, and she now heads to the Paul Young kennel — a major coup for the experienced trainer.
Other Notable Purchases
Several other promising greyhounds also found new homes:
Droopys Tiffany – Sold for £12,000, joins the Sean Parker kennel

Feeling The Love – Recorded 24.52, sold for £7,400, also joins Paul Young

Each of these trialists impressed over the 400m distance, and are expected to debut on the open race circuit over the coming months.
Strong Support for Entain Tracks
Speaking after the event, Nathan Corden of International Greyhound Services commented:
“It was a good overall day at Romford and I'm pleased they have benefitted by over 65% of the greyhounds sold staying within their Entain family.”
The Entain Group currently manages several major UK greyhound stadiums including Romford, Crayford, Hove, and Monmore, and this strong internal circulation of talent underlines their focus on developing top-grade competition at track level.
