Towcester announce free entry to the Derby for licence holders
Licence holders will be able to get into Towcester for free all the way through the 2026 Star Sports and Orchestrate Ltd English Greyhound Derby.

Derby at Towcester free for licence holders
Towcester has announced that all GBGB licence holders will receive free entry to all 2026 Star Sports and Orchestrate Ltd. English Greyhound Derby meetings including the final on June 6.
Licence holders (trainers/kennelhands and officials) need to show their 2026 licence at the gate to gain entry and details will be recorded to prevent double entry.
Towcester kicks off the 2026 Star Sports and Orchestrate Ltd. English Greyhound Derby with 14 first-round heats across Friday and Saturday nights.
And the race to the £125,000 prize ramps up a notch on Tuesday with an invite-only Star Sports-hosted English Greyhound Derby preview night.
Held at the co-sponsor's shop at Curzon Street in Mayfair, London, the firm's head of on-course Kaan Hughes, for many years a familiar face on RPGTV, will be hosting proceedings from 6pm following an welcome/opening speech from Star's Ben Keith.
Thereafter the panel of Kaan, Ian Fortune, champion trainer Mark Wallis and Martin 'Lofty' Chapman will be dissecting the heats and looking at the ante-post list and any special markets.
Star's Emily Wallis will be posting various interviews and snippets from the night on the firm's social media feed.
