Trial sessions ahead of the Derby
Trial requests at Towcester are increasing as the Star Sports & Orchestrate Ltd. English Derby approaches - and the track has slated an extra trials session for outside trainers on Monday, April 20.
However, due to a new rail being installed, there will not not be a trials session on Monday, April 13, but Sunday trials will now be for outside trainers only.
A spokesman said: "There will be an additional trial session on Monday, April 20. This is a session where outside trainers can trial for the Derby, and other competitions, and for any graded runners looking to get on the card, or for stepping up in distance."
Kennelling for this Saturday's meeting is now midday given that trials are due to start at 1pm. First race at the Northamptonshire venue is 2.18.
