Towcester's final Derby trial session plus the latest entries
There were five more entries made into the 2025 Star Sports Derby on Saturday, entries close at 7 pm on Monday, April 28.
Towcester's Monday trial session
Tomorrow is the final trial session before the Star Sports English Greyhound Derby entries close at 7 pm. There are still some spaces that can be accommodated so if any connections want to get a look into their dog before deciding whether to make an entry tomorrow or not, get in touch with the Towcester racing office today!
2025 Star Sports English Greyhound Derby updated entries
Just five entries were made on Saturday including Teddie for Belinda Green. She could be of interest to some as the top bitch as she has already stopped the clock at 28.96 in the only race she has had at Towcester to this point.
Sunnyside Broxi was a finalist last year when he was known as Ballymac Gizmo. It is a long trip down for Ted Soppitt to Towcester but he is the type to keep qualifying, making it to the decider last year without getting his head in front in any of the rounds.
The other three who were given an entry to the competition were Racenight Ivan for Allison Kelly-Pilgrim and the Kim Billingham-Hine pair, Beatties Razl and Beatties Casino.
