Tracks quick to abandon in the hot weather this week
Greyhound tracks have been quick off the mark once more this week with the warm weather leading to early cancellations of meetings.

With a couple more hot days this week, greyhound racing will see a lack of meetings Wednesday and Thursday with the GBGB hot weather policy in full force.
Dunstall Park were quick off the mark to cancel their Thursday card, adding Wednesday's card on Tuesday. Also off on Thursday are Central Park, Nottingham, Towcester and Monmore.
Towcester have also made further amendments later in the week with their Friday afternoon fixture moved forward to the morning and their open races on Sunday cancelled to allow their graders the chance to race.
There is an earlier start time at Nottingham on Wednesday, and at Sheffield on Thursday for their morning meetings.
