Trainers win percentages at Towcester
We take a look over some of the names that have runners on the undercard at Towcester tomorrow and see how they have done at the track in opens so far in 2026.

Open race winning percentages
There's a 15-race card at Towcester tomorrow night with plenty of interest for lots of the big trainers. Who have done well at the track so far this year and who has been struggling for winners?
Janssens leads the way
Patrick Janssens has enjoyed a very smart strike rate so far in 2026 at all tracks and Towcester is no different. He has had 17 winners from 54 runners this year which equates to a winning percentage of 31.48%.
Slick Sentinel, Slick Skylark, Romeo Ability, Fabulous Heka and Fabulous Aria are the five runners that Janssens will field on Saturday night. Both Sick Sentinel and Fabulous Aria head the market as things stand.
Rees, Wallis, Hutton and Young
Four other big training names are also enjoying a decent 2026 at Towcester. Richard Rees is 10/32 (31.25%), Mark Wallis is 24/91 (26.37%), Kevin Hutton is 19/68 (27.94%) and Paul Young is 11/49 which is 22.44%.
Uncle Freddie, Shadow Storm and Scooby The Lady are all favourites in their respective races for Rees, with the last pair named both odds-on in their current contests.
There is one favourite for Wallis in Forgottotellya, plus the likes of Strike It Skye and Vhagar who are sure to give another good account of themselves on the biggest night of the year.
When it comes to Kevin Hutton there are chances with Start The Engine, Tooreen Rose and Venetian Mick, all of whom look set to at least contend in their respective contests.
Young is responsible for the shortest priced runner on the card in the form of Droopys Rated in the Dorando Marathon which closes out the card at 1/14.
Eleven runners for Locke
Towcester has not been the happiest of hunting grounds for the Maxine Locke kennel so far this year with a 16.17% win rate which has come from 11 winners across 68 runners. Around the country this year Locke has banged in the open winners at 21.54%.
There are plenty of opportunities for the kennel, with perhaps the best opportunity in the puppy contest with half of the field coming from Bonville. Litter brothers Annadown Chip and Annadown Warrior are vying for favouritism in that particular race.
