* Bucking Bucks - 7.31 Suffolk Downs
Although he made and improvement on his winning time from the week before, the 716m trip looked too far for Golden Palace when he was run down by his kennelmate Crafty Prospero a week ago. He was runner-up to Fabulous Sonique in the Coronation Cup final back in the summer and he would not need a repeat of that level of form to get his head in front here.
Moaning Gentile has been improving with each look at Suffolk Downs for Darren Whitton, an impressive winner last week. That 13.59 success came from this trap three starting slot, though he is going to have to be on his toes as Keefill Coco on the inside has a nice position to work from with a vacant trap between them in two.
It was a little bit disappointing to see Bucking Bucks turned over last week but he gets another chance to show what he can actually do. His kennelmate in trap one Gothic Opera will move straight right from that starting slot which should remove a couple of rivals from the race as Bucking Bucks looks to use his early pace to go clear around the outside.
