There is plenty of early pace in the 9.16 this evening with those who like to get on with things on the front end. That sort of pace battle early is going to suit the strong-running Brindle Bully down to the ground. He should be able to turn relatively clean a couple of lengths off the speed and swoop fast and late around the outside to run the leaders down.
Romford this evening will see Yahoo Maizy step up to six bends for the first time and that makes her very interesting. She is not quite the force of old, the winner of the 2024 Puppy Oaks at Towcester in her youth, but she has kept some warm company, and this might just suit her to use her natural speed to turn handy here.
There is a very interesting contest at 8.07 where Bluey Bullet might be a spot of value. Stripes is not the best box for him but he has a six-bend dog inside of him in five and then four railers. That make up should allow him plenty of room in which to operate early, bouncing back to winning ways last time with a 24.07 success. Any trouble on the inside can be punished by him.
