It is a little while since Bubbly Crusader showed the pick of his form but he has a recent open race win at this track to his credit and can add another this evening. That came with all of his rivals to his left hand side, something he also has this evening. He can't afford to make any mistakes at the start with some solid types on his inside, but he was a regular winner earlier in the year under 24 seconds and that level of form would be beyond his opponents this evening.
Getting to the front early on is key to success for Lil Bo Peep. She has the sectionals to do exactly that, looking well drawn on the outside of a field that contains four bang railers, three of which would like the red jacket on their back, and one in four who shows her best form from trap two. Any trouble behind her at the opening bend can see her spring clear.
The staying contest at 7.49 is an interesting one which is likely to go to whoever controls the rails at the opening bend. Roxys Sunshine has shown better form from slightly wider out than one so far, and Geneva Betsy failed to clear her in a recent clash which leaves us with Mulveys Champ. He didn't come away as well as he can on his last visit but he is a 29-dead A1 winner at Towcester who is capable of sub 3.90 splits there. If he happened to pop out in front, he would be very hard to hold.
