Wednesday Tips- 3rd September
Romeo Steel (T3, 7.06pm Yarmouth) 1/2 William Hill
Da Mighty Man (T6, 7.22pm Yarmouth) Evs Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill
Who Dares Wins (T2 8.13pm Yarmouth) 9/4 Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill
Wednesday’s selections come from Yarmouth where the 79th East Anglian Greyhound Derby gets underway and the best bet comes in the first heat at 7.06pm where ROMEO STEEL should take all the beating
The Patrick Janssens trained runner is the Ante-Post favourite to land the spoils in a couple of weeks time and he can his challenge of to a good start with an all the way success. He dipped under the track record in a recent trial and another of his electric starts can get favourite backers off to a flying start and can be the the greyhound you base and multiple bets on
DA MIGHTY MAN has been running well at Monmore of late and can transfer that form to Yarmouth in the 7.22pm
Early pace is the name of the game for John Lambe’s sole wide runner, and he can get his Derby campaign off to a winning start here.
He has a cracking looking draw out wide to work from here and like Romeo Steel in the race before, he can stamp his authority with an all the way success
Local trainer Craig Morris has been in good form of late and he could be on the scoreboard with WHO DARES WINS at 8.13pm
He has won his last three starts at the track in graded and open action, and although he hasn’t raced since early August, he did move well in a recent trial and with a couple of slow starters drawn either side of him, he looks to have every chance of making all the running on the rails if coming away well
