Brighton Belle blow for Kevin Hutton

Kevin Hutton said it was a case of "when it rains, it pours" after a dual blow to his team for the Coral Brighton Belle, which starts at Hove on Saturday.

Firstly, his bet365 Hunt Cup winner Resonate was withdrawn from the 515m Category One annual in-season, before Jazzy Belle suffered a setback in a home gallop and has also been withdrawn from the famous competition.

Beloved Brenda (Jason Heath) comes in for Jazzy Belle in heat one of the Brighton Belle, while Avara Flojo (Richard Rees) replaces Resonate in heat five.

Hutton had to withdrawn Jazzy George from the Arc Dunstall Dash Final after the dog won his semi-final last week.

Saturday's decider of the brand new sprint event shares the stage with the final of the Arc Laurels on a gala card at Dunstall Park.

There was also an injury blow for Savva Roberts as Proper Rockett was withdrawn from Friday's first semi-final of the Arena Racing Company Grand Prix at Sunderland.

She had finished third to Newinn Cloud in the heats last week and had been due to run out of trap one in the semis of the 640m Category One, which will now be vacant.
