2025 GBGB Awards to be held at Easthampstead Park near Wokingham on March 5, 2026
Greyhound Board of Great Britain has today announced the date and location for the 2025 GBGB Awards. Trainers, owners and connections are all invited to attend the ceremony, which will be held on Thursday 5th March 2026 in Wokingham.
Following last year’s Awards ceremony which saw people across the sport gather in the heart of the city of York, the 2025 GBGB Awards will be held at the picturesque Easthampstead Park in the countryside near Wokingham.
A short train journey from London, the venue sits halfway between Oxford Greyhound Stadium and Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium and is intended to be more accessible for those supporters based across the South.
As well as highlighting some of the highest achieving racers of 2025, the GBGB Awards will celebrate those working in the sport and their accomplishments from the year, including Awards for Kennelhand, Trainer and Owner of the year.
Mark Moisley, Commercial Director for the Greyhound Board of Great Britain, said: “The GBGB Awards are an exciting opportunity to reflect on the most exciting moments in greyhound racing over the past year and celebrate the people and greyhounds behind these.
“This is the fourth year of taking the Awards outside of London and we hope that many involved in the sport will be able to attend and celebrate their successes in 2025. Every year, we listen to all the feedback we receive about the Awards ceremony and we hope that this year’s venue will match the success of last year’s event in York.
“I’m sure all the categories will be closely fought again after an excellent year of racing. Tickets will be on sale from December 1st and we will be releasing further details in due course. Thank you, as always, to our sponsors whose support allows this to be such an exciting and enjoyable event.”
