Ante-post prices for the weekend - 28 October 2026
There are three Category One competitions currently in progress, and we have up to date prices for all three of them!

Doncaster Puppy Derby
It is down to the final six in the Doncaster Puppy Derby, with Carrigoon Cece looking to pick up a second Category One title on just her sixth career start. A lot will depend on her coming away as well as she has in the opening two rounds, plus the track not being too slow, but she is understandably a very short price to take the prize.
Shado Earth is also unbeaten in the competition with the pair drawn on the wings in traps one and six. If the track comes up very slow that will bring in the likes of Aero Molly who is a huge price given she was only a length and a half behind the 4/9 favourite in the semis.
4/9 Carrigoon Cece
5/1 Shado Earth
7/1 Demon Hunter
15/2 My Twilight Zone
25/1 Aero Molly, Cluain Denis
Coral Gold Collar
A sensational first round of the Coral Gold Collar at Hove on Sunday saw Scooby The Lady produce the best 500m time of 2026 at the track, taking over from Bikini Bullet who clocked the same time as that which had led all times prior to Sunday afternoon. The two bitches are both exceptional performers.
Of the boys, it was great to see Droopys Plunge back in a Category One competition. The 2025 Derby champion will be a veteran once the semis are run on November 1, but he is performing at a high level. Scooby Mustang bids to make a third straight Category One final, though a draw outside of Scooby The Lady will ask plenty of him in the early stages.
5/2 Bikini Bullet
11/4 Scooby The Lady
7/1 Droopys Plunge
12/1 Forgottotellya, Tiffield Tarquin
14/1 Consolidation, Gav Nificent, Scooby Mustang
18/1 Romeo Tomcat
28/1 Raebella Bullet
33/1 Burrows Aries, Carrigoon Milo
40/1 Behemoth, Bowmers Wildcat, Bubbly Hogan, Poly Styrene
125/1 Droopys Graph, Lincoln Impact
George Curtis & Ballyregan Bob Memorial
Vhagar was not the quickest of the winners on Sunday but her reputation has her at the head of the market, aligned with having what looks on paper, a very winnable semi-final. The same can be said for Candolim Typhoon who has been a revelation in recent weeks, and should make his way through to what should be a very strong final on paper.
It is the other semi that is going to be the most interesting. Teddie was the quickest heat winner, taking on Zenith Boom who looked for all the world as if he was going to beat Vhagar halfway around the fifth and sixth bends at the weekend. Add to them the Select Stayers champion Radical Story who made the St Leger final alongside Malcolm Bosh as well as five-time Category One finalist Newinn Cloud, and it is a deep contest.
7/4 Vhagar
9/2 Candolim Typhoon
6/1 Teddie
8/1 Zenith Boom
12/1 Drombeg Flash, Radical Story, Underground Navy
18/1 Bowmers Buddy
20/1 Malcolm Bosh
28/1 Ballymac Madgie
33/1 Bombay Nutty
40/1 Frankton Ivy, Neinn Cloud
50/1 Broncos Bullet, Droopys Rhona, Romeo Arran
