The highlight of Monday's card at Brandywell was the Liam Melly Memorial semi-finals, where trainer Michael Corr’s Meenagh Manila went fastest.
Indeed, Michael Corr stole the spotlight with three impressive victories on the night .
His winning spree kicked off with the triumph of Meenagh Manila in the first semi-final of the Liam Melly Memorial 525. Owned by the A Few Chancers Syndicate, Meenagh Manila broke swiftly from trap two but navigated a closely-contested race to take advantage of the space on Justys Flyer's inside turning for home. Manila’s late surge up the home straight was enough to claim victory by 4.75 lengths in a time of 29.28.
Corr’s second success of the evening came in race five over 500 yards, with State Legend racing for the Rusty's Lads Syndicate. Despite a slow break from trap three, State Legend’s superior stamina and move through the pack secured him victory by two lengths in 27.91, marking his second career success.

The night concluded with Corr’s treble when Dolores Corr's Heavy Lifting impressed in the final race, notching a fast time of 16.73 for 300 yards. The blue dog, launching from trap five, fended off competition from Skywalker Voyage to win by a length, boosting his record to three wins from five starts.
