A first for Britain with dual-fixture announced

The Arena Racing Company have announced that Wolverhampton/Dunstall Park will have the first dual-fixture in Britain on March 7. The Saturday afternoon card on the horses features the Lady Wulfruna, a Listed contest that is run over seven furlongs.

The card typically also features the Lincoln Trial, a handicap over a mile with the race at Doncaster to start the turf season coming up a few weeks later.

There will be live music from Radio Murphy between the two cards with the dogs then taking over for the evening. A ticket covers both of the meetings and the music.

Tickets are on sale on the Wolverhampton website for this historic fixture which hopefully will be the first of many. It is a great opportunity for greyhound racing to put itself into the shop window of horse racing, a strong attendance from both codes would be a great start.
