Semi-final draw - two qualify from each heat for the £15,000 to the winner final taking place on Wednesday, September 17.
The first of three semi-finals will see Romeo Steel taking on Tiffield Tarquin and Who Dares Wins. The bookmakers have priced up with Coral going 8/15 about the Patrick Janssens-trained Romeo Steel, who clocked 27.26 in the first-round heats. Tiffield Tarquin is on offer at 3s with William Hill. Who Dares Wins will line up from T1 and is an 8s chance with the same firm.
The second semi-final looks a match on paper with Bockos Buster on offer at 11/10 with Coral and Brindle Bully 5/4 with bet365. This race is all about the break and run into the corner. Bockos Buster recorded a 5.20 sectional last time out and has a 5.08 on his card, a repeat of that should see him lead round and take this from T3.
The third semi-final of the Click Competitions East Anglian Derby looks a wide-open affair with impressive first-round winners Swift Depot, Not So Steady and Da Mighty Man all lining up. The bookmakers have Swift Depot as the 6/4 favourite (Coral) following on from his flying 27.10 track record run in the first round. Not So Steady is available at 13/8 with William Hill. Da Mighty Man is next in at 3s with Ladbrokes and Coral.
The semi-finals will take place on Wednesday, September 10, with the final scheduled for a week later on Wednesday, September 17.
