Could you help a corn genetics study in greyhounds?
Dr Richard Doughty is doing a study into corns in greyhounds and needs help from UK dogs.

Dr Richard Doughty is working on a project studying corns in greyhounds. He is especially looking for UK based greyhounds to use as a control, which would be older dogs who have never suffered from a corn.
If you have a retired dog who you think might be able to help, the information from Dr Doughty is below.
"The corn genetics study is still ongoing (albeit slowly). We have expanded the crietria for the greyhounds with corns to include more dogs.
"We are looking for the following:
"Cases: Greyhounds with more than one corn. Dogs that have had surgery for corns and no longer have them can also be included. If your dog had corns but no longer does they can be included.
"Control: Greyhounds 8 years or older and has never ever had a corn during his or her life.
"The study this round is only for greyhounds in the USA, and the UK and Ireland.
"In particular we need to have more control dogs (no corns) from the UK, so any one knows a good source please make contact.
"Taking part involves filling out a survey and taking a spit sample from your dog(s).
"I often miss people who contact me so if you are willing to help and provide a sample please email me with information about your greyhound - if it has corns or not, and how many corns - and you postal address so I can send you a saliva swab with a consent form and instructions."
