Fantastic five open winners for Michelle Brown at Suffolk Downs
There was open class racing at Suffolk Downs on Tuesday night where the Michelle Brown team proved to be the dominant force once more.

Domination on the downs
Another Tuesday of domination for the Michelle Brown kennel at Suffolk Downs saw five winners from nine open races on offer, plus a sixth in the sole graded race of the night. If this continues into the new year then we'd expect a petition to Kevin Boothby to rename the place Suffolk Browns!
Savana Kilauea was the fastest of the 388m winners. It was a tougher race than he had been in of late, but that made no difference to him, making it a fifth win in six races, turning over his kennelmate Golden Acre in the process.
There were winners over four different trips for Brown, including a double for the Essex prefix with Gunner in a sprint contest and Crazy in a four-bend race. They have only had 10 races between them, with the latter now a perfect 3/3. He is a June 24 whelp by Tommy Shelby and looks a nice one for next year.
Savanaacatenango landed a six-bend race, finally hitting the lids from those traps after a couple of races where she has not shown the early gears that she had at Towcester over 500m. Last night's effort gives hope that she has mastered these traps now with a 388m trial since last over this far perhaps giving her a needed switch.
There was also a winner over eight bends in the shape of Crafty Prospero. He had to work harder to get the job done than when he smashed out to set a new track record on his last time over this trip. Kennelmate Golden Palace gave him a target to aim at, only giving best of the final bend.
The run of the night came from Frank Macklin's Tell On Aimee who stopped the clock a single spot outside of the six-bend track record, albeit the races were hand timed again. Macklin picked up a double on the night, landing a gamble in the opening contest with Emers Summer. She produced a frankly flying 4.45 sectional to lead up the very smart Bucking Bucks, with the Brown runner never looking like cutting back the winner.
Rapido Aria is tied with Joe Edgar's Clear Eyes for the lead as the winning most graded greyhound in the country this year with 19 wins, but she was on open race duty last night, picking up a 388m win for Jason Gornall.
The other open on the card was an impressive sprint win for Darren Whitton's Moaning Gentile. The veteran performer had his trapping boots on, running away by two and three-quarter lengths in an impressive 13.59.
